This LG Blu-Ray is a solid system for small to medium rooms. The 2.1 sound speaker arrangement has 2 small speakers and the subwoofer. The sound is excellent but perhaps not having the edge of the more expensive 5.1 outfits. This really doesnt notice in the home but would make a difference in larger rooms and hall.
