18-Apr-2007 wil: why is the contrast ratio only 600:1 for this price

Easycom: This is the TRUE contrast ratio of the TV. Other LCD TV's claiming 6000:1 and above contrast ratios are reporting a 'dynamic' contrast ratio, which is a digital enhancement to the original contrast ratio rating.

Easycom: I don't understand what you mean. This Tv doesn't have any spurious bits of plastic on it, & there's nothing showing on Acers site either

jeremy: This is a 3 year old Acer TV, that's no longer produced. Your best option would be to buy a universal remote.
