BBC iPlayer on FreesatThe way we watch TV is changing. Nowadays you don’t have to be a slave to the schedule; you can watch what you want, when you want to watch it. You should always have choice and freedom with your entertainment, and that’s why the BBC are now offering their iPlayer through the Freesat service. What is BBC iPlayer? BBC iPlayer lets you watch hundreds of BBC TV and radio shows at the click of a button, so you can catch up on programmes you might have missed, or watch your favourite shows again. Want to watch last night’s episode of Eastenders? Well you can, in your own time, when you want to watch it. What do I need? At the moment the iPlayer service is in its Beta stage on Freesat, so you can only get access to it if you’ve got a Humax Foxsat box or a Sony Freesat TV, but it will be rolled out over the entire network soon. Because iPlayer streams directly from the internet, you’ll need a broadband connection too, and an Ethernet cable to hook it up to your TV. If you’ve got all those boxes ticked then you’re ready to start watching. All you need to do is press your red button whilst tuned in to any BBC channel, and enter 5483 on your remote. It really is that simple. Make the most of your license fee and take control of your TV, with BBC iPlayer on Freesat. Check out our range of Freesat TVs below, and get watching. |
