Easycom: Yes, it has an external power adapter.

2-Sep-2008 Monica: Does it come with an instruction manual? Can I download straight to the TV as well as computer?

Easycom: yes it comes with instructions.... as long as your TV hav external AV inputs, yes you can watch directly from the camcorder
