15-Nov-2007 Michael: Hi I am thinking of buying a HD DVD player ( blueray) will this TV give me the best HD picture as I understand HD can be sent out in 576 720 or 1080 formats. Some tv are advertised as full HD. What HD format will this give If I connect a full HD Dvd player.

Easycom: to get the best out of Blu-ray you need a tv that can display at 1080p, or in other words, has 1080 horizontal lines. This has only 768 lines so will only display up to 1080i. Your best buy would be 37FLH760 finlux panel

4-Dec-2007 Paul Holmes: Took the plunge and bought on Sat, arrived today Tues. First impression, good looking box, although not as slim as some of units. DVD plugged in, seconds later tested it by watching Spiderman 3 and Flushed away (kids choices but good reference stuff) Flushed away absolutely pin sharp. SM3 the unit 'struggled' with some of the movement and colours, but to be fair the DVD player was only 20quid's worth & I'll get it sharper by playing with the controls etc.. TBH for £380 delivered to your door this is a remarkable offer, I have hanspree monitors so expected quality to be good. Thanks for everything guys, top company, top product :¬)

5-Dec-2007 Fubar: Bought one of these last Friday delivered Monday.An excellent TV for the money.This TV is the dogs wotsits. 360 looks great hooked up to a sound bar. Damn I'm in heaven face hurts from grinning.10/10 guys will definitely use this shop again.

17-Dec-2007 jim. nottingham.: just bought one of these sets [sun] fantastic. out the box and up and running in a few minutes. best value tv on the market. trust me, you wont get better for 100's of £££s more. just one question, can tv tilt back slightly on it's stand? dont want to try and force it. no mention in book. ps: it has a sleep timer.

19-Dec-2007 Alastair: Purchased on Friday, delivered to Berkshire Monday and up and running same evening in my Manchester flat. My first large screen LCD. Very good build quality, superb looks and design. Up there with the big boys. Sound quality is good. Picture quality with freeview is excellent, better than analogue input. DVD output by SCART is excellent. HDMI cable on order! CRT is still better, but think size & bulk and take the plunge. Overall for £370, a terrific TV. Thanks.

Easycom: I would think you have bad reception plus you can't get an analogue signal via cable, it needs to be via your roof aerial

14-Jan-2008 bob w: Great tv for the price, looks superb and is a doddle to install, in fact it took me 5 minutes and no need for the manual. As a bonus, very friendly service at the Hudds depot when I collected it. Okay, the sound through the tv speakers is not 100% brilliant (hey, there had to be a compromise somewhere at this price) but hook it up to your hi-fi via the audio out and it rocks the living room. Snap one up while they're still cheap.

Easycom: thanks for the comments. with regards to a better quality scart, it would cut out interference from other devices. As for scart to hdmi, scart is analogue, hdmi is digital, so you can't convert one to another

25-Feb-2008 Theodoros: Have been doing some research on this product and there have been issues mentioned on the Vsync function not being available through vga connection in native resolution (60Hz) resulting to some disruption in the quality of picture. However it is not clear if this is a problem related to the firmware or a specific batch of the televisions. Can you comment on this issue in case you have heard of such problems and provide the firmware version on the models of JT you provide? I am under the impression that the latest firmware is v. 4

Easycom: Analog tuner means that it will pick up traditional analog channels, however it can receive digital television with the addition of a digital television box.

Easycom: Hanspree have a parent company that are one of the worlds largest LCD manufacturers. Both televisions have very similar specifications and so it would be up to personal choice and both would be fine to connect an Xbox360 or Playstation 3.

Easycom: 1080p is the highest resolution of high definition and so as the screen resolution is higher then the 1080p offers a better quality picture.
