HD Ready 1080P Fun.

With the 37LF66, LG have pushed back the boundaries once more by introducing a 37" full 1080P for a price that both delights and surprises.

For a start the full 1920 x 1080 resolution is able to handle any high definition source you throw at it such as Blu-ray - which means the high definition pictures are displayed without compromising on detail giving you a crystal clear picture time after time.

And if the source isn't High Definition, don't worry, this LG set comes with two image processing units, LG's XD Engine and Faroudja's DCDi System to help with re-scalling standard definition sources such as Freeview and terrestrial TV.

The contrast ratio comes in at a staggering 5000-1 and an automatic backlight system is on hand to automatically dim the image's brightness when dark image content is detected. Also included is Simplink, an LG system whereby you can control all the connected AV or HDMI devices with one remote control. It even turns all the devices all off when you switch the TV off leaving you more time to get up the stairs to bed once the evenings viewing is finished.

But where the LG really stands out is when used on HD sources.
