jeremy: pip is quite good on this set.. you can have TV as main whilst having you PC as secondary, swap them around, have it working through HDMI or any other connection, swap arround what you want as the main image.. It is about the bst PIP function I've seen

13-Oct-2008 JG: Hi, re the VGA connection - I have seen some LCDs which will accept a 1366 x 768 connection via VGA ? Is this set defiantely limited to 1024 x 768 ? I ask because I use VGA on my XBOX 360 because it will upscale DVDs via VGA. Also - do you know what the approximate dimensions of the actual box are ? Easycom: 1024x768 is the max resolution this will support via VGA.... 115x97x23cm

Easycom: No Component will only support either 720p or 1080i

Easycom: VGA can't support full HD, 1920x1080. the max will be 1024x768... you need to able to connect via HDMI or DVI to get full HD out of your PC

Easycom: 24p works via a HDMi connection but is not Blu-ray specific

Easycom: depends what you want to use it for.... If you're a big gamer then I would go for the Mirai, good warranty & full 1080p. If you're only watching normal TV then it won't really matter which set.. All I'll say is for 500 pounds its very good value

jeremy: depends what you want to use it for and what size screen you had in mind.. to get a 1080p TV, at this price, you could only get a 32" set. Spend £100 more and you could move up to a 37" Sharp 1080p. This TV is good for gaming, if thats your thing, so the bigger the screen the better
