Panasonic DMR-BS750EBK Blu-ray freesat recorder

1 x Pansonic LM-BEU25AE3 Blu-ray Discs

The UK’s first Blu-ray recorder is here, letting you record two channels at once through Freesat+, store all your favourite HD moments and memories in one place, stream and share HD content online and, for the first time ever, save to High Definition Blu-ray Disc.

Because the recorder is equipped with two HD digital tuners, two different TV programmes can be recorded simultaneously. There is no need to worry about missing out on recording a programme when two programmes overlap.

In DR mode, the DMR-BS750 can record digital broadcasts in Full-HD picture quality. It can also stream-record and output the 5.1 channel surround sound signals (Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus) contained in HD broadcasts. When connected to a 5.1 channel digital amp, the DMR-BS750 lets users enjoy outstanding surround sound while watching a TV program or playing back a recording.

It reproduces films with colours that are exceptionally faithful to the original. The combination of the Blu-ray DiscTM software encoding technology cultivated by the Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory (PHL) and the decoding technology accumulated by Panasonic has led to the development of the “PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus," a high quality image technology for faithfully reproducing film content.

DMR-BS750 is compatible with the VIERA CAST function, which allows you to access YouTube™, Picasa™, and other various contents. YouTube™ lets you watch the newest video clips, and Picasa™ lets you view Web-based photos. You can also check weather and stock information on other sites.

Intelligent Auto Standby After watching and listening with the compatible Blu-ray Disc™ recorders, the recorders automatically turn off when you return to the TV using the VIERA remote. * 2009 VIERA TV Standby Power Save Blu-ray Disc™ recorders with Power Save function will turn on/off when TV is turned on/off. * 2009 VIERA TV

28-Aug-2009 Nigel Padley: Hi I have aSKY HD plus box but have cancelled recently and they're going to charge me £9.75 per mth for the box features and another £10 to record any free to air HD ie BBC and Channel 4 so £240 a year is a bit steep and the box always makes a whining noise. My question is if I buy the Panasonic DMR-BS750EBK Blu-ray freesat recorder I assume I do not need a HD TV with freesat built in? What, if any other cable will I require to use this box utilising my existing SKY dish? Thanks Nigel 01283 734796 office

jeremy: To utilise all the functions on this box, you will need a dual feed from your satelite dish. you do not need a TV with freesat built in.

18-Sep-2010 Donal Boyle: I am a Virgin Media customer with a HDTV connected to a samsung V+Box with a hdmi connection and scart sockets. Will my v+box over ride the freesat in the DMR-BS750EBK and what conection would I have to use for the DMR-750EBK.

jeremy: Yor Virgin box won't overide anything as you will be conneccting them independently to your TV. You will need a satelite dish and 2 coax feeds, from the dish, to work the DMR-BS750EBK

29-Aug-2009 Peter Thompson: We have a Philips HDTV but it doesn't have an HDMI input, only Scart and DVD. Is there an adaptor to connect the two? Also we have a Sony 5.1 sound system which connects via an optical cable. Will this be compatible with the Panasonic DMR-BS750EBK?

jeremy: The unit does have twin scarts on the back, o you can connect your TV. You can also connect your home cinema via optical

9-Jun-2010 Harry Phillips: Harry Phillips: I have a Panasonic G20 50" can i use the TV remote to use the Viera link to use instant record & pause live TV and all other Viera functions with just using a HDMI cable as i have only put HDMI Cables in the wall ready to use with a recorder

jeremy: No but you will be able to use the DMXC-BS750 remote to control the TV, then use all its functions to control everything

Jonathan: Yes it will.

13-Jun-2010 steve: steve jordan: i have a sky hd box. would like to know what do i need to to record sky hd content on my planner to blu ray disc. (if poss) and anythink i need ( cables ect) to connect both the sky hd box with the panasonic recorder, with my hd 42" phillips telly. thank you. steve

13-Jan-2010 kevin lee: I currently have a sky+ box, in order to utilise the twin freesat tuners will i have to have another dish installed alongside my current sky dish. Is there no basic freeview tuner built in which works through my existing tv aerial? also am i able to record HD content from sky onto this recorder in HD?

jeremy: to use this, along side your sky+, you will need a quad lnb fitting to your dish and 2 extra feeds from your dish to the recorder. You can't record, from sky to this in HD, but this is HD
