10-Aug-2008 Paul: Does this system upscale standard DVDs to the HD TV? How would I convert it to true surround sound?

Easycom: yes this will upscale standard DVDs, but obviously , you won't get the same quality as a Blu-ray disc. As for the rear speakers, this system is wireless enabled to take SH-FX67E-K and SB-HS100EB-K, wireless module and rear speakers, to convert to 5.1

18-Dec-2008 Ray: It isnt clear if this system has a standard built-in FM radio. Can you please enlighten me? Also, are the speakers included, wireless?

jeremy: Wireless speakers are an add on, SH-FX67E-K & SB-HS100AE-K are needed. It does come with AM/FM radio

jeremy: we do not have that information, as for the speakers, they are on block connecgtors so will only take one pair

17-Jan-2009 TONY: I am confused about the terms Dolby HD and DTS True HD and Pro-logic II etc. Ideally I want a 5.1 system but I have a FreeSat built-in Panasonic TV and have been told that sound-wise you only get the true benefit of full HD quality sound if you have a 7.1 AV Amp to play your full HD programmes and even blue ray films through. Is this right? Will these amps deliver that much improved sound quality over the 5.1 SC-BT100EB-K with the additional wireless speakers at the back?

jeremy: .Technically true HD is broadcast in 7.1 surround, but unless you are planning on building a true home cinema room in your house, then I would say that you would be wasting money. If you have a large lounge then would could benefit by extending the speakers to 5.1, when watching films

David J: Additional speakers can only be added to this unit via wireless
