10-Jul-2007 timmy: hi is the plasma better than the lcd

Easycom: depends on what you are measuring it against. You need to look at like for like spec, plus also what you are going to be watching through it (Xbox PS3 etc.) As a rule of thumb, LCd is good on smaller screen sizes, plasma is better for large sizes. You then have to check out the quality & resolution of the panels.

11-Jul-2007 Richard: I am looking for a low cost monitor to use in conjunction with my HD projector mainly for Freeview and SD gaming use, would my best option be this plasma or the Teco TL4091RW LCD?

Easycom: personally I would go with the teco, better resolution & connections plus a 2 year warranty!

12-Jul-2007 Sean: what is the difference between this model and the BDS4241V/00 (more expensive) model? the basic specs look the same!

Easycom: The difference is that the "R" has a built in tv tuner & the "V" doesn't. We have bought these on a special deal

12-Jul-2007 tt: is the tv either hd ready or hd complient?

Easycom: it is HD compliant via DVI
