Easycom: Yes it is.

4-Aug-2008 thanks: I see that this cable is HDMI version 1.3 will this work on my Sony 3200ES amp, my sony is hdmi version 1.2? Or do I have to purchase a version 1.2 cable for this amp?

Easycom: No you don't. All current HDMI's are 1.3 versions, and are backward compatible. which means that it will support up to, and including, 7.1 audio channels
