 A Display device that is HD Ready means that it meets a set of requirements needed to show protected High Definition content. Freeview is a free digital UK terrestrial TV service offering over 30 TV channels and 20 radio stations, using the DVB-T standard. With a Freeview enabled TV, you wont need a set top box as the tuner is built in. Freeview is received through your normal rooftop aerial, visit www.freeview.co.uk to check that you can receive it. The Samsung Digital Natural Image engine takes any input signal and applies a number of processes to make each frame the best it can be. The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is an industry-supported, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface. HDMI provides an interface between any compatible digital audio/video source, such as a set-top box, a DVD player, or an A/V receiver and a compatible digital audio and/or video monitor, such as a Digital TV.
