15-Aug-2010 Ruth Gray: Can you record tv programmes with a Blue-ray player?

Jonathan: Most are just players though Panasonic do a recorder, DMR-BW780EBK

29-Oct-2010 shipoclair: Do i need to buy anything extra in order to watch such things such as BBC iplayer or does it come with everything?

jeremy: BBC iPlayer is embeded on this Blu-ray player but is not yet available via the Player. Apparently the licensing agreement, for Samsung, currently only allows them to have iPlayer access via their TV's. It will be available before the end of the year but no firm date.

1-Nov-2010 dunc: i dont av a 1080p tv yet but just have a hd one, will this dvd player run on that untill i upgrade the tv.

andy: that won't be necessary because it comes included with a LinkStick adapter
