14-Jan-2009 Jazzii: How good is this product on a scale of 1 to 10? 1 being awful and 10 being excellent. Also i would like to know how reliable this product is as i Am thinking of buying a dvd recorder and am not sure wich type to buy. I have a price limit of £0 -£150.

jeremy: My advise would be to try and match the dvd recorder to the model of your tv. these bits of kit don't always opperate properly if paired up to a different make TV. after that I would say that no one player is any better than another, as they all tend to perform to a similar standard. All I would say is stay away from an unknown brand

31-Jan-2009 jnfs: I have come accross the Samsung model no. DVD-SR270M/XEU which offers VideoPlus recording. Is this the model which you offer? If not, does your model (without the /XEU) have the VideoPlus facility?

jeremy: it is the same model, we just don't use the XEU on the end of our codes
