Easycom: the M86 & M87 are the same set. the M86 has been produced for the Dixons Currys group and has a slight cosmetic change to it the M87 is on Samsungs site

27-Jul-2007 v0x31: Hi there, I would like to hook this tv up to my computer, can you please confirm that if I do this it will allow the computer to drive the tv at its FULL 1080p resolution and not a cut down 1024x768 resolution which some tv's enforce. Many thanks.

Easycom: yes you can connect this to any high def, ore Blu-ray product. All HDMI ports are HDCP compatible

3-Jan-2008 DEXTERMUNCH: What type of connection/cable would give me the best possible picture quality/performance on this TV when connecting my xbox 360 premium console (It does not have the HDMI output of the newly manufactured xbox systems!). also, if I am not connecting via HDMI, will the 1080 resolution still make a considerable difference to that of a TV with a lower resolution when playing games?

Easycom: best use VGA connection if you want to display at 1080p or component for anything of a lower resolution. you will notice the difference between 1080i/p and lower resolutions

Easycom: The F86 will be better for PS3, higher dynamic contrast ratio and faster response time, plus 100hz. is it worth the money? only you can decide that.

Easycom: connect via the VGA/PC input. you should only need a standard monitor cable

Easycom: There is no specification difference between the two. The warranty is a 1 year on site warranty.

Easycom: The le46f86bdx has a higer contrast ratio (25000:1) and so will give more defined colours.
