14-Oct-2010 Brian White: Hello - I would like to buy a Samsung UE40C6530 from you but all of the ones I have seen have a Darkwood Look front to them. But according to reviewers you can also get black or grey fronts. Your spec says black, but does this mean the case or the front? I notice you list various model numbers "Other Product Codes for this item: UE-40C6530UKXXU UE40C6530UKXX 40C6530UKXXU UE40C6530UKX UE40C6530UK", does this mean that they represent different colour fronts? I tried asking Samsung but they were useless. I don't want to order one from you but then have to return it because the front colour is wrong. Your picture on your website looks to be Darkwood Look Hope you can help! Many thanks Brian

jeremy: This model is called "dark Wood" but its really a black finish with a slight ripple effect, supposedly representing a bark like look. The letters at the end of the code, denote which factory built the set, so the letter combination can vary

jeremy: You can't reserve so such a long period of time, but we have plenty of stock on order. The price won't change between now & the end of the month.

10-Nov-2010 jimwalshe: I am very much interested, and in the market for one of these tvs. Unfortunately I'm somewhat put off by some reviews that complain of a searchlight effect in the corners of the screen, and patches of pixelation during dark scenes on the screen. Are these problems indemic with this model?

jeremy: No. We do sell literally hundreds of this range and have very few issues. There is a general issue with all makes of edge lit LED TV's. Because of the way the backlight works, you will occasionally notice a feint shading, like the searchlight effect you mentioned, but this is very slight & would take a lot of studying to notice.
