21-Feb-2009 Martin Davies: I'm interested in buying a Sony KDL32 (not sure which type 32W4000, 32E4050etc). I'm also interested in the Sony 5.1 Surround sound system. My questions are 1) How big is the main Woofer box ? 2) Does it simply connect to the 2 phono sockets on the back of the Bravia and then use 5 cables coming from the Woofer Box to the smaller speakers ? 3) Does the Woofer have to be in view for the remote to control the sound, or is the sound controlled via the TV ?

jeremy: Its really designed to be connected via a Blu-ray or DVD player, or recorder
