Freeview is a free digital UK terrestrial TV service offering over 30 TV channels and 20 radio stations, using the DVB-T standard. Toshiba's Active Vision screen technology takes these TVs into a league of their own. The enhanced scanning system combines Active Mode 100Hz DFS with Progressive Scan to produce a natural image with incredibly sharp detail. Active Vision uses a unique process that analyses movement around each pixel segment of the screen in any direction. From this it can add more detail to the picture to make movement natural, smooth and lifelike.

The standard aspect ratio for High Definition TV is 16:9 Widescreen. Perfect for Home Cinema, and watching Digital TV Broadcasts.

The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is an industry-supported, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface. HDMI provides an interface between any compatible digital audio/video source, such as a set-top box, a DVD player, or an A/V receiver and a compatible digital audio and/or video monitor, such as a Digital TV.
