World Cup HD TV Rental Offer
What It Costs
- The Acer HD 32" LCD TV costs just £99 to rent for 6 weeks. The finance agreement will be for the price of the television (£679 inc.VAT) which will not be processed if you return the TV within 1 week after the expiry of the rental term.
- The LG HD 42" Plasma TV costs £149 to rent for the duration of the World Cup. The finance agreement will be for the price of the television (£1299 inc.VAT) which will not be processed if you return the TV within 1 week after the expiry of the rental term.
- Alternatively, if you do not want to secure the deposit against a finance agreement, you can pay in full for the TV and we will refund you if the TV is returned within 1 week after the expiry of the rental term.
- If you decide that you want to keep the TV you just need to let us know and we will either activate your finance agreement or ask you for your credit card details.
- Delivery cost to anywhere in the UK is £49 inc.VAT
- You can collect from our North of England Warehouse for £25 inc.VAT
- You must return the TV to us within 1 week after the expiry of the rental term.
- All prices are inclusive of VAT.
How it works
- This is a consumer only offer. For details about LCD and Plasma TV rental for businesses, pubs and clubs please call 0870 264 2125.
- You can place your rental order for a High Definition TV in one of 3 ways: On our website, over the phone or face to face at our Huddersfield Sales Counter.
- Unlike other rental companies, you do not have to pay a deposit. Instead we ask that you complete a credit agreement for security for the value of the TV. This will be cancelled on return of the goods and you will owe nothing (see below).
- You can choose whether we deliver the TV to your home or you collect from our warehouse.
- We will take your credit or debit card details for the rental and delivery.
- If your credit check is successful, you will need to print off the agreement form, sign it and send back to us.
- If your check is unsuccessful or you do not want to be credit checked, you can still rent the TV by paying a deposit to the full value of the goods.
- On receipt of your signed credit forms, we will take payment from your card for the rental and delivery.
- We will then despatch your goods on a 2 working day service to anywhere in the UK. This will be fully insured. For security reasons we can only deliver to your home address.
- If you return your goods to us within 1 week after the expiry of the rental term the credit agreement will not be activated and you will owe nothing. If you used your card to pay the deposit, your card will be refunded. Either way, the only amount you will have paid is for the rental and the delivery.
- If you decide to keep the goods, the finance agreement will be activated. This is Buy Now Pay Later which means that if you pay off the amount within 9 months, you will pay no interest. Alternatively if you don’t want to take up the finance option, you can pay by credit or debit card and we will cancel the agreement.
Options at the end of the Rental period
- You can return the product at any time before the expiry of the rental term. If you wish to return, please contact us for a returns number. This can be done by contacting customer services on 0871 750 2970 or by filling in the online returns form at www.directtvs.co.uk/asp/rental-returns.asp. You will be issued with a Returns number within 24 hours.
- You must then either send the goods back to us via insured carriage or call us to arrange collection. This is a chargeable service we can offer to any UK address – please call our Customer Service team to arrange collection.
- All original packaging, cables, accessories and instructions must be returned. Failure to do so will result in a restocking charge.
- Goods must be in a condition deemed acceptable for normal wear and tear based on the period of hire.
- If you wish to keep the product, please contact us on 0870 264 2125 to let us know. We will then activate the finance agreement or take payment by your card and send you a receipt to confirm this.
Your Obligations
- To advise of any damage as a result of delivery within 24 hours of receipt of the product.
- To comprehensively insure the equipment whilst it is in your possession or when being returned to us. You are responsible for damage or theft.
- Not to cause any damage to the product, accessories or packaging other than normal wear and tear.
- To return the product to us with all the packaging, accessories and instructions in an acceptable condition within 1 week after the expiry of the rental term.
Our Obligations
DirectTVs is a trading name of Easy Computers Limited, one of the UKs largest retailer of PCs, Laptops and TVs. We have been established for over 7 years and pride ourselves on our quality of service. We are an ISO registered company. We will:
- Provide the television as ordered by yourself within 2 working days of receiving your completed finance forms and after having taken payment for the rental and delivery.
- Replace or repair faulty equipment within 3 working days of it being reported to us.
- Provide technical support for advice and help on setting up your product.
- Provide you with a Returns number to return your product.
- Cancel your credit agreement once satisfactory inspection of the goods has been carried out.
- To refund your money within 7 days if you decided to pay for the deposit using your card rather than use our finance option.
- If you decide to keep the goods we will process your finance/payment within 2 working days of such notification and will send you the receipt and warranty details.
