Dynamic High Definition
The VPC-HD700E adopts high compression recording formates (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264). The resulting files are small in size, which makes them easier to handle and lets you record more minutes of high-quality video. These files are half in size and better in quality that DVD (MPEG-2) formate.

Connections Possibilities
The Xacti HD700 can be connected to an external HDD via the USB port on the supplied cradle. This means you can copy image files saved in the HD700 directly to an external HDD, without having to use a PC. You can then view those images on a TV screen, complete with the original high image quality. Xacti Library’s built-in Album function makes it easy to organize files saved onto a hard disk.
